The Yankees fan who dramatically tried to rip the ball out of Mookie Betts' glove has spoken out after he was ejected from the World Series matchup.

Tuesday's game in the Bronx took a bad turn early when Betts jumped into the stands to catch a goal from Gleyber Torres at the end of the first period. However, after the Los Angeles star grabbed the ball, the fan – later identified as Austin Capobianco – forcibly tried to pull the ball from Betts' glove.

Unsurprisingly, the outfielder wasn't happy with Copabianco's attempt to rip the ball away after he caught it. After being escorted out of the arena, the 38-year-old from Connecticut broke his silence.

“I just want to watch the game,” Anthony Volpe wrote shortly before Anthony Volpe’s third-inning grand slam erupted the stadium, according to The Athletic.

A clip of Copabianco and another fan trying to grab the ball as they were approached by security guards and led to the exit gained attention on social media. The sold-out stadium then began to boo their ejection as they received high-fives and handshakes on the way out.

Capobianco's brother Darren, 29, insisted he saw Betts' glove fly over the wall as he tried to block Torres' hit. He also noted that his brother was a season ticket holder.

“I just kind of see the ball — I don’t want to say it’s winnable, if that makes sense,” Darren Capobianco said. “And then Mookie called us names. Not good.'
