The Wisconsin football team will seek its first three-game winning streak in the Big Ten since 2021 when it plays Northwestern on the shores of Lake Michigan on Saturday.

The Badgers (4-2, 2-1 in Big Ten) have put together impressive performances, outscoring their opponents 94-13 in their last two wins.

Can Braedyn Locke and Tawee Walker continue to score touchdowns against Northwestern, a team that embarrassed them at Camp Randall Stadium last year?

The Wildcats (3-3, 1-2), whose offense ranks at the bottom of the Big Ten, are seeking their second straight conference win after a 37-10 victory over Maryland last week.

The Journal Sentinel will provide live coverage of the Wisconsin-Northwestern game. Below you will find current scores and highlights of all the top plays.

Northwestern goes out of bounds three times after the interception, so the Badgers defense does a great job.

Wildcats quarterback Jack Lausch has major problems with accuracy.

Northwestern gets another first down, but then quarterback Jack Lausch has a few more incompletions and the Wildcats have to punt.

But the Badgers gave the ball away for their first turnover of the game after Braedyn Locke threw an interception.

Wisconsin started the drive at its own 35-yard line with 8:43 left in the quarter. The drive started well, with Tawee Walker rushing for the first down with runs of 3 yards and 8 yards.

But then, on 3rd-and-7 from the 49-yard line, Locke went deep and targeted Trech Kekahuna. But the ball ended up right in the hands of Coco Azema. That was a bad pass and a bad decision.

Interceptions were a problem for Locke. Luckily for Wisconsin, the picks mostly didn't hurt the Badgers.

Braedyn Locke and the Badgers offense start the game with a few positive plays, scoring a 9-yard completion to Will Pauling. Welcome back, Pauling.

Pauling left last week's game with an injury.

Tawee Walker then rushed up the middle for seven yards. It looks like Walker will pick up where he left off last week. After Chez Mellusi left the team a few weeks ago, Walker served as the Badgers' lead back. He had three touchdown plays in the last two games.

But after an incompletion by Locke on 3rd-and-5, the Badgers also have to punt on their first drive. The Badgers have been very strong in the first quarters of recent games.

The Badgers won the toss but postponed it until the second half.

Wisconsin's defense will take the field first against a Northwestern offense that ranks 15th in the Big Ten with an average of 21.5 points per game. The Badgers' defense has been outstanding the last two weeks, allowing a total of 13 points in the two wins and just one touchdown.

The Wildcats are averaging 299.5 yards per game, 17th out of 18 Big Ten teams.

Northwestern opened the game with a 26-yard completion from Jack Lausch to Thomas Gordon on the first play that reached the 42-yard line. After a few runs to third and fourth place, Lausch is incomplete.
