Why it's time for Detroit Lions Jameson Williams to turn professional

The Detroit Lions' overall success in this 2024 NFL season will depend on a variety of factors.

Dan Campbell has repeatedly stated that all roads in the playoffs should lead through Detroit.

After defeating the Minnesota Vikings to secure their Division I title, wideout Jameson Williams is expected to miss Detroit's divisional game against the Green Bay Packers.

The talented wideout is reportedly facing a two-game suspension for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances.

Dan Campbell: We're prepared to not have Jameson Williams

“I think he’s done enough in terms of maturity off the field to put himself in the spotlight,” said co-host Christian Booher. “I still believe in Jameson Williams as a football player and as a person.” I just think that mistakes like that shouldn't happen again in the future.

“If you look at the game suspension as warning one and this as warning two, then you essentially have your final warning. I’m not ready to give up on him, I’m not going to give up on him,” Booher continued. “I think when he’s on the field he’s electric and we’ve seen that this year. But at some point you just have to dial it in, and maybe this is the wake-up call he needed.”
