Cristiano Ronaldo has had one of the most legendary football careers in the history of the sport.

As a five-time winner of the UEFA Champions League, the most coveted club trophy in the world, Ronaldo's trophy collection is bursting at the seams. With three Premier League titles, two La Liga championships, two Scudetto titles, one European Championship and much more, CR7 is one of the most decorated footballers of all time.

But as he expands his career at 39 and seeks a little more fame before retiring, his uncanny ability to collect silver appears to have disappeared.

The Sporting News reports extensively on the last time Ronaldo won a trophy after his recent flop in the Saudi King's Cup, which was a direct result of his own mistake.

Cristiano Ronaldo's last major club trophy

The last time Cristiano Ronaldo won a major club title was May 19, 2021 when Ronaldo was at Juventus.

The Old Lady defeated Atalanta 2-1 Coppa Italia final to win the national cup title. Ronaldo started in the final but did not score as Dejan Kulusevski and Federico Chiesa scored the deciding goals. It would be his last goal for the club as he returned to Manchester United the following summer.

After Al Nassr's elimination from the Saudi King's Cup on Tuesday October 29, Ronaldo missed a penalty in the 96th minute to keep their hopes alive 1,259 days have passed since Ronaldo last won a major club trophy.

Since then, Ronaldo has not won a single major club trophy, remaining without a silver medal for two seasons at Man United and three seasons at Al Nassr. He also hasn't won a major club title with Portugal since winning the UEFA Nations League in 2019, although those chances are far rarer.

The only possible point of contention would be the Arab Club Champions Cup, which he won with Al Nassr in the summer of 2023. However, this competition is not a FIFA-sanctioned tournament and is therefore not officially counted among its major titles.
