Election Day is here and it's the last chance for voters to make their voices heard in a variety of races, including who will be the next President of the United States.

Tennessee will also decide on seats in the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives as well as the state legislature. Local residents will also have the opportunity to have their say on Mayor Freddie O'Connell's transit referendum.

There is a fight for the US Senate. Incumbent Marsha Blackburn, R-Tennessee, who is seeking a second term, will face Rep. Gloria Johnson, D-Knoxville. U.S. Reps. Andy Ogles (R-Columbia), John Rose (R-Cookeville) and Mark E. Green (R-Clarksville) will all defend their seats in Districts 5, 6 and 7 races.

Even though the polls close at 7:00 p.m., anyone in the queue before or at that time will still be allowed to vote after the deadline as long as they remain in the queue.
