    Auburn football is in a difficult spot in the middle of the 2024 college football season.

    The Tigers (2-5, 0-4 SEC) have lost four straight, including a heartbreaking last-minute 21-17 home loss to Missouri last week. Now Auburn will try to get back on track as second-year coach Hugh Freeze tries to avoid a worse start than his predecessor, Bryan Harsin. The former Tigers coach had a 9-12 record in his first 21 games; The freeze is currently 8-12.

    In SEC play, Auburn has yet to score more than 21 points this season and has lost two home conference games after holding the lead for most of the contest.

    On the other hand, Kentucky enters this game with a 48-20 loss to Florida in Gainesville, Florida. The loss ended a three-game winning streak over the Gators for the Wildcats and was their second straight loss following their upset win over Ole Miss.
