A poor goalkeeping performance from Italy's No. 1 Gianluigi Donnarumma cost Paris Saint-Germain all three points in the final minute of their Champions League clash against Diego Simeone's Atlético Madrid on Wednesday evening.

The Parisians suffered a 2-1 defeat against Atlético after Angel Correa managed to get past the former Milan goalkeeper in the third minute of second-half stoppage time.

PSG took the lead in the first half but conceded an equalizer just four minutes later. Especially in the second half, the hosts had numerous chances to regain the lead and decide the game.

However, against the run of play, Atleti broke forward late on through Antonie Griezman, who sent a long ball over the top to Correa, who managed to squeeze it past Donnarumma, who will have been disappointed with his attempted save.

Even though it wasn't the most powerful shot, nor the best placed one, Correa managed to get his shot through, even though Donnarumma was involved.

Donnarumma has already been criticized in the Champions League following his performance in PSG's opening round tie against Arsenal, where many felt he was responsible for the Gunners' opener.
