In previous years, this would have been a 100-point game; This year, the Huskies have a top-10 defense that they lean heavily on. Can Lincoln Riley's explosive offense overcome the Huskies' defense? That's probably the key factor in this game. With both teams tied at 4-4, this is a game that is difficult to judge. Both teams have been mediocre all season. The Huskies haven't been underdogs at home in a long time, but in this game they are – and I'm inclined to agree. My choice between USC and Washington is USC -2.5.

I have a hard time imagining that this offensive can have enough effect in Washington. The Huskies have not scored more than 20 points in four straight games and in five of the last six games. Their offense is underpowered and they have significant problems in the kicking game. The Trojans are by no means a great defense, but Washington will still likely struggle on offense. UW needs to compete in this game if it wants to win, but I think the Trojans will find a way to score enough points. It's a tough stretch of road, but give me the Trojans' offensive firepower on this one.
