According to the latest report from StreamElements, both viewership and hours watched are increasing on Twitch. This could be due to the increase in subathons in September, which many streamers hold to take advantage of the platform's discounts on subscription prices. Several FaZe Clan members hosted such subathons, many of which made it onto StreamElements' Top 10 Streamers of the Month list.

According to data from StreamElements' analytics partner Rainmaker.gg, 1.653 billion gamers watched, down slightly from August (1.660 billion). However, daily viewership was higher than August – 55 million and 54 million, respectively. World of Warcraft and Dota 2 saw big increases in viewership, and EA Sports FC 25 debuted in the top 10 games category

Four of the top ten streamers in September were members of FaZe Clan, many of whom hosted subathons throughout the month and reportedly streamed over 695 hours each. StableRonaldo took the crown with 9.7 million viewing hours.

Or Perry, CEO of StreamElements, said in a statement: “Twitch experienced two significant peaks in September that fueled each other: a surge in daily viewing hours and a reshuffle of its top streamer rankings.” FaZe Clan members held simultaneous subathons each lasting over 695 hours, and brought four creators into the top 10 for the first time, with Stableronaldo taking the crown.
