Trump says Oprah should be ashamed: 'It's ridiculous... she's divisive'
Donald Trump said he was disappointed in Oprah and the dire warning she issued on the eve of the election.

Former President Donald Trump responded to Oprah Winfrey's warning that there could never be another vote if “we don't show up tomorrow,” calling it ridiculous. Speaking after his vote at the Madel Recreation Center in Palm Beach, Florida, Trump said Oprah should be ashamed of herself because she is a big divisive person. Oprah made this remark on the eve of the election at Kamala Harris' rally in Philadelphia, saying, “If we don't show up tomorrow, it's entirely possible we'll never have the opportunity to cast a vote again.”
“Well, I think it’s ridiculous. Oprah, I was on her last show or one of her last shows and they picked the biggest people and all that and made a big deal. And actually, I'm disappointed,” Trump said.
“I think Oprah has become a major divisive person in our country and I think, quite frankly, she should be ashamed of herself,” he continued. “And you know who else should be ashamed? Fox. Because I've seen Oprah on Fox make the same statement about 50 times. And I think it's a shame what Fox is doing because everyone thinks Fox is so pro-Trump. They are not for Trump at all. You’ve been teasing Oprah all morning.”
Trump said Oprah chose Mar-a-Lago for the funeral of television executive and her mentor Roger King. “Oprah picked the location,” Trump said. “She said Mar-a-Lago was the most beautiful place. Would it be possible to hold Roger's funeral at Mar-a-Lago in the ballroom? We made it. The only time I ever had a funeral there. And I think Oprah should be ashamed for saying that. She should be ashamed of herself.”
He then mentioned that Oprah once wanted to run for vice president with him, as expressed in a letter she wrote him in 2000. “It’s a shame we’re not running for office. What a TEAM!” “And now she’s making statements like that,” Trump said Tuesday morning. “She is a separator. And Barack Hussein Obama is also a divisive person.”
