Get your tropical shirts back out for a few days. It looks like most cities in Lower Michigan will see record heat on Tuesday and Wednesday. Some cities in the Upper Peninsula will also see record warm temperatures.

High temperatures are expected to be near 80 degrees for many of us in Lower Michigan on both Tuesday and Wednesday. With very warm temperatures on Tuesday afternoon and the warmth continuing on Wednesday, we will also see record-breaking low temperatures on Wednesday morning.

Here are the major climate locations expected to reach record temperatures Tuesday afternoon. I noticed that Traverse City isn't on the map but is expected to reach 76 degrees, which is also a record breaker. Some of the smaller cities that will break records are not shown on the map. You'll notice record temperatures throughout Michigan.
