Trayce Jackson-Davis got the starting nod for the red-hot Golden State Warriors this year. In the 4-1 start to open the 2024-2025 season, TJD was the man under center, starting all five games and averaging 19 points per game. As a sophomore, I averaged 9.6 points per game, 5 rebounds, and 2.4 assists while shooting 77% from the field.

On offense, he does an excellent job of positioning himself adeptly around the rim, with 13 of his 22 field goal attempts this season coming right at the rim. Not surprisingly, this long-time, athletic basketball player converted 12 of those attempts.

Last night he scored 15 points on 7 of 9 shooting in 20 minutes while adding 9 rebounds and 1 block.

Last year, TJD was snubbed from the NBA's All-Rookie Team by one vote and finished with 41 votes for the NBA All-Rookie Second Team, one point just behind GG Jackson II of the Memphis Grizzlies.

If there was ever an NBA All-Sophomore team, TJD would be on track to make it this season. His combination of jumping ability and height makes it more difficult for coach Steve Kerr to take him out of the game; This young man is very similar to his father, Dale Davis.
