The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 8 to maintain their perfect season, and star tight end Travis Kelce was instrumental in the reigning Super Bowl champions' winning streak.

Kelce, who had a surprisingly slow start to the 2024 regular season, caught ten passes for 90 yards in the game and managed to score his first touchdown of the season, helping Kansas City win.

His long-awaited result not only ensured the Chiefs remained on top; It also counted as the 75th touchdown of Kelce's career, putting him just one point shy of legendary tight end Tony Gonzalez for the most touchdown in franchise history.

While the Chiefs' 27-20 final score against their bitter AFC West rival was anything but a slam dunk, Kelce's stellar performance should be more than enough to get Kansas City fans excited for the defending champions' Week 9 game against Tampa Bay Buccaneers to look forward to.
