The Kansas City Chiefs scored on the first drive of their Week 8 game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.

Newly acquired wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was deployed to the Kansas City offense early in the game and managed to record his first reception for the Chiefs in the first quarter.

Although he has yet to score his first touchdown catch with Patrick Mahomes, Hopkins' involvement in Kansas City's passing game in his first snaps with the reigning Super Bowl champions bodes well for a six-point performance against him to enter robbers.

Check out this video of Hopkins' first catch of Sunday's game, posted by the Chiefs' official account on Twitter.

Fans in Kansas City were thrilled when Hopkins and Mahomes met and quickly responded to the catch.
