The Witches of Salem plan to honor Stormy Daniels on Halloween

Salem's witches will honor Stormy Daniels on Halloween during their annual “magic circle” ceremony, reports say The Boston Globe.

Daniels, the adult film actress who claims to have had an affair with former President Donald Trump, has been a practicing witch since childhood, she told the newspaper.

“I can’t find the words to emotionally explain how important this is to me,” Daniels said globe.

Daniels will be honored with the Salem Witches' first annual Woman of Power Award on Thursday at 5 p.m. at Salem Common.

Salem witches Christian Day, Brian Cain and Lorelei Stathopoulos — all owners of witch shops in Salem — teased the surprise in a video posted to Facebook, without naming who the recipient of the new award would be.

“She is a very important symbol of women’s empowerment in our difficult times,” Cain said.

The organizers announced this globe that Daniels was chosen because she was believed to be the victim of a modern-day witch hunt. Trump was convicted in May of a felony for falsifying business records to hide hush-money payments to Daniels, whose address was published online after Trump was indicted in the case.

“Nobody understands what the last six years have been like for me,” Daniels said globe. “Everyone else can turn off the TV and forget about the politics that have reached this next level of dark madness. I don't get this opportunity. I live in an RV because I can't go home. The persecution these witches felt hundreds of years ago sounds very familiar.”

Daniels told the newspaper she has always been a “sole practitioner” of witchcraft and was excited to join the circle on Thursday.
