The Cardinals defeated the Bears 29-9, extending their winning streak to three games

The Cardinals' last three wins have all come after last-minute comebacks that resulted in field goals in the final game of regulation, but there was no need for drama against the Bears on Sunday.

Arizona scored its first touchdown of the day, built a 21-7 halftime lead and never trailed en route to a 29-9 home win. The win moves them to 5-4 on the season and they will host the Jets next week before receiving their bye in Week 11.

The running game paved the way to Sunday's win. Tight end Trey McBride showed versatility by running a two-yard touchdown in the first quarter and running backs Trey Benson and Emari Demercado added two more points before halftime. James Conner never made it to the end zone, but he had 107 yards on 18 carries and the entire team rolled up 213 yards on the ground.

It wasn't all good news for the Cardinals' offense, as they also had their only two turnovers of the game, but the defense ensured that the Bears couldn't find the same offensive success. Bears quarterback Caleb Williams was sacked six times and was under relentless pressure, with Zaven Collins and Xavier Thomas leading the attack from Arizona's front seven.

Williams was 22 of 41 when able to block passes, and the Bears never got going before the score was too one-sided to keep trying on the ground. That's a much different way to lose than last week's Hail Mary, but both are wins against the Bears, who are trying to stay in the NFC playoff mix.

The loss drops the Bears to 4-4 and they will open a three-game homestand against the Patriots next Sunday.
