The Bengals are expected to be in the running for the ex-Eagles' $4 million Pro Bowler

Where will the former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker end up?

Former Eagles linebacker Devin White was recently fired, ending a surprising tenure. He signed a one-year, $4 million deal with Philadelphia in the offseason, but it obviously didn't work out. It looked like White would be a starter and play an important role for the Eagles, but he never appeared in a game and is now on the open market.

The former Philadelphia linebacker is a former Pro Bowler and is just 26 years old. Some team will take a risk. It's just a matter of time.

One team that may be in the mix for the veteran linebacker, according to Bryan DeArdo of CBS Sports, is the Cincinnati Bengals.

“Cincinnati’s defense has been historically poor this year and was the main reason for its 1-4 start,” DeArdo said. “The Bengals have two long-term starters at linebacker in Logan Wilson and Germaine Pratt, but Cincinnati should do everything it can to fix the defense, which is why White could be an option here. If anything, he would add depth and competition to a defense that could use both.

Cincinnati certainly hasn't had the season they were hoping for so far and it might make sense to take advantage of a former Pro Bowler to bolster the defense. Why not at this point if you're the Bengals? Maybe White can get back on track with a better chance.
