This weather pattern is expected to impact early commutes, so drivers should take precautions on U.S. Route 87 and surrounding roads. According to the National Weather Service, storms could ease after 9 a.m., skies will be clearer around midday and the high temperature will be 75°F. However, cooler overnight temperatures are expected, falling to 40°F.

By midweek, the forecast for Wednesday promises a sunny day with a maximum temperature of 21°C and light southwesterly winds.
