Under first-year head coach Mike Elko, No. 14 Texas A&M football appears to be controlling its own destiny and reaching the College Football Playoff.

Thanks to some timely defense and some heroics from redshirt freshman Marcel Reed, the Aggies defeated the No. 9 LSU Tigers 38-23 on Saturday at Kyle Field.

Of course, there was a huge buzz on social media when the Aggies came back and won the biggest game in LSU's century-plus history against A&M. The Aggies trailed in the first half before storming back to take the lead at the end of the third quarter. From then on, A&M never looked back. A&M scored 21 unanswered points at one point in the second half.
