Sydney Sweeney is reportedly one of the highest-paid actresses of her generation

Sydney Sweeney is a certified star. It didn't take most people long to figure this out, but now Hollywood is finally getting the message.

The 27-year-old actress starred alongside Glen Powell Everyone but you and the romantic comedy grossed $220 million at the box office. She was reportedly paid $2 million for the film, not counting her producer's fee and back-end profits.

That was last year. Fast forward to this year and Sweeney starring in Ron Howard's latest film Edenstarring actresses Ana de Armas and Vanessa Kirby, receives a much higher salary.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, she'll take home $7.5 million to star in the film The housemaidwhich will also star Amanda Seyfried. I've never been particularly good at math, but even I know this is a significant improvement.

THR adds that big pay raises are no longer common in today's Hollywood. Sweeney has become one of the most sought-after actresses in the industry. She has several projects planned and is already working on one about boxer Christy Martin.

Sources told THR that the executive producer fee is $250,000 and estimated profits are in the millions Everyone but you also played a role.
