The Phoenix Suns have officially released their new NBA Cup court design for this season.

Check out the posts they made on X (formerly Twitter):

The field features a center court logo with the Suns logo overlaid on a Cup logo, as well as patterns in the color on each side of the field that make the buttons look like Cup logos as well. There is a “PHX” wash logo that takes up almost the entire width of the pitch, as well as black baselines and sidelines.

What's most noticeable is that the entire interior is covered in an orange gradient. Also on the lower sideline is the Phoenix-famous “Valley Gradient” (according to the Suns), which has been featured on Suns' fields, jerseys and merchandise since the 2020-21 season.

The 2024 Emirates NBA Cup begins on November 12 and the Suns are part of the West B group. West B consists of the Suns, Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Lakers, Utah Jazz and San Antonio Spurs. That means there are two more 2023-24 playoff teams in their bracket (Lakers and Thunder), as well as a Spurs team featuring 2023-24 rookie of the year and block champion Victor Wembanyama.

Last season at the NBA In-Season Tournament, Phoenix went 3-2. Both of their defeats were suffered by the in-season tournament winners, the Lakers.

This year they are bringing a new head coach to the Cup in Mike Budenholzer.
