For residents planning to stay up late to watch the results of the 2024 Massachusetts election, there is almost no doubt which presidential candidate will lead the Bay State.

The only real question about Tuesday's election in Massachusetts has five parts: Which of the five statewide ballot questions will be approved by the commonwealth's voters? Residents were asked to comment on the state auditor's powers (Question 1), MCAS graduation requirements (Question 2), unionization of rideshare drivers (Question 3), legalization of certain psychedelics (Question 4), and elimination of tipping Minimum wage (Question 5).

As election results emerge, voters will also be keeping an eye on whether incumbent Senator Elizabeth Warren can fend off a challenge from John Deaton and how the nine races for the U.S. House of Representatives will affect the balance of power in Congress.

Throughout the evening, Boston.com will provide live updates on the 2024 election results, including the 2024 presidential race, New Hampshire election results and which political party will have majority control of the Senate and House of Representatives.
