The St. Louis Blues will look to extend their winning streak to three in a row when they host the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday night (7 p.m., FanDuel Sports Network, 101 ESPN, Blues App) to complete the first homestand of the 2024-25 season.

After big wins over the New York Islanders and Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday and Saturday, head coach Drew Bannister will opt to leave the lineup largely unchanged on Tuesday.

One change, however, is that forward Alexandre Texier will once again fill in for Nathan Walker on the fourth line after missing five games with an upper body injury.

“I think we want to take some of the pressure off him (Texier) right off the bat, he's been out for a while with that injury, but before that I felt like he had an excellent training camp,” Bannister said. “He can play a lot of different roles in a lot of different situations.”

The only other change expected in the lineup tonight is Jordan Binnington in goal in place of Joel Hofer, who played two straight in net for the Blues after earning a shutout in Thursday's overtime win over New York and deserved an assist.

“Tonight it’s obviously important for us to play a division game,” Bannister said of the undefeated Jets. “They played some good hockey and we need to continue to improve our game and it will be a good test for us here against them tonight.”
