Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski He scored two goals in his team's 5-2 Champions League win against Red Star on Wednesday. The 36-year-old struck on both sides of the half-time break and led Barça into the top eight of the beginning of the “league phase” of the Champions League.

Lewandowski was substituted in Wednesday's win, denying him the chance to reach three figures with a hat-trick. However, he won't have to wait long before he can bring up the century; Barcelona are back in Champions League action with a home game against Barcelona later this month Brest (November 26).

Lewandowski and Flick continue productive relationship

The Polish striker has been in incredible form this season after it looked like age was finally catching up with him in the points last year. Lewandowski is one of many Barcelona players on the hunt rejuvenated under new head coach Hansi Flickafter previously working with him at FC Bayern Munich.
