Road closures for the 2024 Cambridge Half Marathon + 5km on Sunday November 3rd

Please expect road closures and traffic disruptions on Sunday 3rd November due to the Cambridge Half Marathon + 5km.

The race starts and finishes at CambridgeSide in East Cambridge. It is a fast and flat course through Cambridge including MIT, John W. Weeks Footbridge, Harvard Stadium, Charles River and Harvard Square. Beginning at 7 a.m., the first lap of participants will travel down Memorial Drive to the John W. Weeks Footbridge through Harvard Stadium and back along the Charles River and Memorial Drive, crossing the finish line on First Street near the intersection with Spring Street.

The roads along the route will be closed during the event. Road closures are expected in the area between 5 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Sunday. A block of Hurley Street between First Street and Second Street (near CambridgeSide) will also be closed all day on Saturday, November 2nd as organizers prepare for the race.

The following roads will be closed before and/or during Sunday's event:

· Land Blvd is closed from Binney St to Memorial Dr from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m

· Memorial Dr Westbound from First St to Gerry's Landing, 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m

· Memorial Dr eastbound from Gerry's Landing to First St, 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m

· First St, from Cambridge St to Memorial Dr, 5:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m

· Otis St, from Second St to First St, 5:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m

· Thorndike St, from Second St to First St, 5 a.m. – 12 p.m

· Spring St, Second St to First St, 5:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m

· Hurley St, from Second St to First St, all morning until noon

· Charles St, from Second St to First St, 5:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m

· Bent St, from Second St to First St, 5:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m

· Rogers St, Second St to First St, 5:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m

· Binney St, from Second St to First St, 5:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m

· Linskey Way, from Second St to First St, 5 a.m. – 12 p.m

· Athenaeum St, Second St to First St, 5:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m
