Republican 'The View' Host Alyssa Farah Griffin Admits She Voted for Kamala Harris: 'I Consider My Vote on Loan to Her'

Former Trump aide Alyssa Farah Griffin has been a vocal critic of her old boss, but whenever asked directly, she wouldn't commit to voting for Kamala Harris until Tuesday morning. At the start of “The View,” she revealed that she had officially cast her vote for a Democrat for the first time in her life.

The admission drew widespread applause from the audience and the show's co-hosts, who had long pressed her on whether or not she would vote for Harris, given her dislike of Trump and past support of Nikki Haley.

“I consider my voice to be on loan to them,” Farah Griffin said of Harris. “I worry about the direction Donald Trump will take this country, and I take my own warnings seriously. What I saw is very real.”

According to the host, even if she disagrees with Harris' policy proposals, she simply wants “a kind and decent person to bring this country together.” Still, Farah Griffin said she was “scared but hopeful.”

She added: “We can criticize these (policies) later, but today is about a better future, and I think the best thing for the country and the future of the Republican Party is that Donald Trump loses, and so does Kamala Harris.” ” chosen.”

As Farah Griffin explained her decision, she also remembered where she was four years ago today – in the Trump White House, watching the results of the 2020 election (she didn't quit her job until about a month later, in December) and it became clear to her that he would lose.

According to the host, she believed at the time that he deserved to lose based on the campaign he ran and hoped the Republican Party would regroup accordingly. But, she argued, that was never the case.
