The Lakemill Lodge in Reno was closed Wednesday because of biohazardous waste and evidence of the discovery of controlled substances during an investigation into complaints about the law and other issues.

The 123-room Reno motel on Mill Street, described by police in the past as a haven for drugs and crime, was closed after evidence of human waste and positive tests for fentanyl were found in the property's stairwells and common areas became.
