A rain-snow mix is ​​possible on Halloween, with snow forecast for the Duluth area and northwest Wisconsin.

Late Wednesday evening, the Twin Cities metro area will experience widespread rainfall coming from the south and southwest.

At first it will just rain, then it will become a rain-snow mix. This may result in some snow Thursday morning north of the Twin Cities, from Pine County north toward Duluth and northwest of Wisconsin, where a winter storm warning is in effect. These areas could see a few centimeters of snow – especially on the colder, grassier areas.

It will mostly rain in the Twin Cities area, with a few snowflakes occasionally mixed in. It is possible that snow may fall on grass, roofs or decks, but it is unlikely to impact roads.
