Typically, the Patriots tweak their roster the day before each game, making game-specific moves depending on who they're playing that week.

However, this is not a requirement.

New England performed brilliantly this Saturday as it failed to make a single roster move or add to its practice squad ahead of Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium. It is the first time this season that the club has failed to gain promotion and only the third time in the last two seasons.

ESPN's Mike Reiss confirmed the lack of plays the previous day.

The Patriots have offensive lineman Michael Jordan (2x) and Bryan Hudson this season, defensive lineman Trysten Hill (2x), tight end Mitchell Wilcox, running back Terrell Jennings, linebackers Joe Giles Harris and Ochaun Mathis (3x). as well as long snapper Tucker Addington.

Jordan and Mathis each converted their promotions into active roster spots, while Hill and Addington are no longer with the organization.

The Titans were able to get a lead, which determined who they will start at quarterback on Sunday.
