Oklahoma State has now suffered five straight conference losses and is 3-5 for the first time since head coach Mike Gundy's very first season with the program.

The Pokes will try to right things today with a battle against Arizona State at 2:30 p.m. CT, a must-win if OSU wants to earn a bowl berth this season.

2Q:

Early in the second frame, Bowman and WR Marcus Stribling connected on a 36-yard bomb, ultimately setting up a wild sequence that would take an OSU score off the board. The team missed or couldn't get in on some throws, setting up a fourth-and-goal on the yard-and-a-half line. Bowman eventually connected with Brennan Presley for a game-winning touchdown near the sideline.

On 4th-and-1, Leavitt found Skattebo for the first down, who had to race the rest of the way to score the next score.

With about five minutes left in the half, Oklahoma State experienced its biggest momentum shift of the game, gaining 75 yards in 10 plays to end the ballgame. Back Ollie Gordon hit the ball from the two-yard line.

ASU got its offense back on the final drive of the half and managed a well-deserved touchdown drive that ended with a rushing score from Skattebo.

1Q:

On its opening drive, Arizona State found almost immediate offensive success. It picked up first downs on chunk plays and finally capped its eight-play, 75-yard drive with a 22-yard aerial strike from Sam Leavitt to Jordyn Tyson for the game's first touchdown.

OSU punted on seven plays and managed just 23 yards on its first drive.

After back Cameron Skattebo made powerful runs, tight end Chamon Metayer broke off a 29-yard pass from Leavitt. The Pokes gave up on the 3rd and 5, but gave up the 4th and 2 conversions just one play later. On the next downs, OSU got lucky with a 3rd-and-8 drop and the Sun Devils missed a 47-yard kick wide of the right goal.

The Cowboys' hurler in Bowman saw some successful throws on the team's second drive of the game, but threw an interception early in the drive, giving the ball and momentum right back to ASU.
