Miranda Lambert freaks out when Theo Von accidentally plays her and Blake Shelton's wedding song

Miranda Lambert had a lot of laughs as she sat down for an episode of Theo Vons Podcast “The Last Weekend with Theo Von”.

Theo, 44, and Miranda, 40, were discussing a popular radio segment called “Cryin', Lovin' or Leavin'” when Theo asked producers to name a “Call of the Week” from the show. However, the only call producers clicked on was actually a request from a listener to listen to Miranda's ex-husband's “God Gave Me You.” Blake Shelton.

“Perfect choice, by the way,” Miranda said before bursting into laughter.

Theo sat there in shock, shaking his head as Miranda kept telling him it was perfect. He promised the “If I Was a Cowboy” singer that the incident was not planned in advance.

“We didn’t choose that on purpose,” Theo explained. “I had no idea we were going to talk about 'Cryin', Lovin' or Leavin'.”

Miranda continued to laugh and said, “My first wedding song, guys! Let's play this! We cry, love and leave now, bye!”

Blake, 48, said as much when he heard a Christian singer's original version of “God Gave Me You” in 2010 Dave Barnesit reminded him of Miranda, who he was with back then.

“It's no secret, Miranda and I have had our ups and downs over the years and this was definitely the low point of our relationship,” Blake said during an interview with The boot published July 12, 2011. “But I heard this song on the radio – for some reason I was flipping through the stations and landed on a contemporary Christian station and this song came on and I almost had to stop the truck. It was one of those moments for me where I felt like I was listening to this song at that moment for a reason.

Miranda and The voice alum started dating in 2006 and they tied the knot five years later. In 2015, the couple shocked fans when they announced they had separated just hours after their divorce was final.

“This is not the future we envisioned,” a spokesperson for the former couple said in a statement at the time. “And with heavy hearts we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. We therefore ask for your privacy and compassion on this very personal matter.”

While Miranda and Blake's breakup seemed to come out of nowhere for fans, TMZ reported in July 2015 that Blake allegedly believed Miranda had been unfaithful in their marriage. However, both of them strongly denied the cheating rumors. Since their relationship ended, both parties have discussed their divorce.

“When we recorded vocals for some of these songs (for the album). If I'm honest,) I was only six months away from when all this shit happened,” Blake said billboard in a 2016 interview. “When you have a broken heart — at least when I have it — you have to get it out of your system. You want people to sympathize with you. I was at my lowest point, in the middle of hell.”

Miranda also opened up about the split in 2019, hinting that she was frustrated with how much publicity her and Blake's divorce continued to receive.

“When everyone's worried about your personal life, you think, 'If you could just spend some time talking about my actual art, that would be great!'” Miranda explained during the November 2019 interview with Health. “But I think I asked for this when I got into this business. I’ll never get used to being in public like this.”

Since their divorce, Blake and Miranda have both remarried, with Miranda saying “yes.” Brendan McLoughlin in November 2019 and Blake gets married Gwen Stefani in July 2021.
