Unseasonably warm temperatures will continue Monday before a cold front moves through the state and temperatures cool down.

Forecast for Monday

Temperatures will continue to be warm Monday, with a high of 81 degrees expected in the Twin Cities.

There will be some high clouds moving in, bringing some filtered sunshine on Monday.

Most of the state can expect plenty of sunshine with temperatures in the 70s and 80s. Temperatures are still below record highs but are approaching them.

Monday night is expected to be mild, with low temperatures in the 60s through Tuesday morning.

Temperatures are starting to cool down

A cold front moving into the state will cause temperatures to cool slightly on Tuesday and cool even more on Wednesday.

As the cold front moves in, light rain is possible in the Twin Cities on Tuesday evening, heading north.

Temperatures are expected to begin cooling Tuesday evening. By Wednesday, high temperatures are expected to become more seasonable at 55 degrees.

Above average temperatures are expected again on Thursday, but it will not be as warm as Monday.
