After a 35-11 loss to the North Carolina Tar Heels, the Florida State Seminoles and head coach Mike Norvell are facing significant backlash as they fell to 1-8 on the season.

Just a year after going 13-1 and finishing the season in 6th place, Norvell and his team have only won one game so far this season.

After taking the lead on a field goal in the first quarter, the Seminoles allowed the Tar Heels to score 21 straight points and could not reach the end zone until 6:24 remained in the third quarter.

Quarterback Brock Glenn completed 6 of 11 passes for 123 yards and a touchdown before freshman Luke Kromenhoek stepped in and completed 2 of 7 passes for 36 yards and two interceptions.

Tar Heels quarterback Jacolby Criswell completed 13 of 17 passes for 211 yards and a touchdown.

In his fifth year at FSU, Norvell led the Seminoles to a 10th-ranked finish to start the season, but got off to an 0-3 start and secured their only win against the California Golden Bears in Week 4.

FSU fans took to social media to express their frustration with the program's lack of offensive success compared to a year ago.
