MIAA boys soccer brackets, 2024 state tournament schedule

Over the next three weeks, five of the 212 boys soccer teams that qualified for the MIAA tournament will become state champions.

In the meantime, these teams will contribute to exciting battles – with late goals, crucial saves and dramatic overtimes to be had in abundance.

There are 45 teams fighting for the crown in Division 1, led by top seed Newton South. Wakefield leads the 38-team Division 2 field, as does Pope Francis in the 41-team Division 3 tournament. In Division 4, Cohasset is the headliner of a 40-team field.

In Division 5, Boston International secured top spot among the 48 seeds, representing the most teams in a soccer tournament this fall.

Because a judge ruled in favor of Minnechaug, Northampton, Monson and Pioneer Valley Regional, all four schools were denied losses from scheduled Western Mass. Tournament games that were not timely filed with the MIAA. Of the four teams, both Minnechaug (No. 5 in D2) and Northampton (No. 13 in D2) will host first-round games.

The state finals will take place on Friday, November 22nd and Saturday, November 23rd.
