Martha Stewart makes a sizzling confession.

In RJ Cutler's new Netflix documentary Martha, the 83-year-old admits that she was unfaithful to her ex-husband Andrew Stewart.

“Young women, take my advice: If you're married and your husband starts cheating on you, he's an asshole,” Stewart shares in the documentary's trailer, released Thursday. “Get out of this marriage.”

A producer quips: “Didn’t you have an affair early on?”

Then she admits, “Yeah, but I don’t think Andy ever knew about it.”

The couple was married for almost three decades after tying the knot in 1961. The former couple welcomed daughter Alexis Stewart in 1965 before divorcing in 1990.

“Divorce was a terrible thing for me because we were the first in my family to get divorced,” Stewart continued. “And the fact that we haven’t spoken since the divorce is even more painful. But I am very strong and very motivated to move on with life.”

The docuseries explores Stewart through a series of intimate interviews, chronicling her rise from teenage model to OG influencer and America's first self-made female billionaire in 1999.

Viewers can also see how the television personality changed her image after going to prison for insider trading in 2004.

“The cookie-cutter house and the cookie-cutter life wasn’t for me,” Stewart said. “I could have just been a miserable former housewife, but I didn’t allow that.”

“I was a trophy for these idiots,” the businesswoman continued of her 2004 conviction. “These prosecutors should have been put in a Cuisinart and cranked up to speed.”

Stewart sold her shares in ImClone Systems, a biopharmaceutical company, in December 2001, which caused a stir among investigators. They questioned her about the trade in early 2002, but she and her stockbroker Peter Bacanovic claimed they had no inside knowledge that would have prompted the sale.

But federal prosecutors later accused Stewart and Bacanovic of lying to authorities and acting on nonpublic knowledge when they made the deal.

A highly publicized trial took place in early 2004 in which Stewart was found guilty of conspiracy and obstruction of justice. The best-selling author was sentenced to five months in prison and two years probation.

“I had to climb out of a hole,” Stewart confessed in the trailer about reinventing herself after prison.

“I'll be back. I will be back,” the chef said outside the courthouse after her sentencing, according to The New York Times. “As you know, I am used to hard work of all kinds and I am not afraid. I’m not scared at all.”

During her time behind bars, the former daytime host kept her company, and less than a year after her release in 2005, Stewart was able to write a book and debut two television shows.

On the day she was released from prison, Stewart wrote in a statement on her website: “The experience of the last five months in Alderson, West Virginia has been life-changing and life-affirming.” I hope to one day be able to speak more about everything that is happening is, about the extraordinary people I have met here and everything I have learned.”

“One thing I never want is to be identified, otherwise I don't want that to be the most important thing in my life,” she told Katie Couric in 2017. “I was a strong person from the start, and thank God I was,” and I can still hold my head up and know that I’m okay.”

“Martha” premieres on Netflix on October 30th.
