The Toronto Maple Leafs and St. Louis Blues will play at Enterprise Center for the second time in nine days.

Toronto is hoping to get a better result this time, and my Maple Leafs vs. Blues predictions are that William Nylander will help his team do just that.

My Leafs analysis
The Toronto Maple Leafs have been back on track since their clash with the St. Louis Blues last Thursday.

However, the Blues have taken the opposite route and come into tonight's game with a three-game losing streak.

Toronto's offense was weakened in this game, scoring one goal on 41 shots. However, St. Louis has been outscored 13-5 since then. In fact, the Blues are missing a lot of good chances overall this year, giving them the eighth most dangerous chances in the NHL.

That should bode well for the Leafs tonight as they have suddenly found their offensive style, with Nylander being the most dangerous offensive weapon with three goals and five points in this three-game stretch.

Nylander's sudden resurgence was sparked when he was welcomed with two new linemates earlier this week. Along with John Tavares and Max Pacioretty, he dominated their minutes, winning 88% of them in terms of expected goals.

Additionally, according to MoneyPuck, they have capitalized on these opportunities at the highest rate in the NHL, averaging 12.64 goals per 60 minutes and outscoring their opponents 5-0 during that span. The 76.9% O zone also helps.

Given the way the second line is currently being used and how well it is performing, I would like to see him continue his hot play tonight, put a goal in the back of the net and extend his team's lead in goals.

Another way Nylander could increase his chances of getting on the scoresheet tonight would be if the Leafs start the power play tonight. A date with the Blues could also do the trick as they have a 73% penalty kill rate, placing them 27th in the league.

William Nylander is the goalscorer at all times

Nylander 3+ shots

Leafs money line

Nylander has taken three or more shots in six of his last nine games this season.

Additionally, the Blues are giving up the eighth-most shots on goal per game this season (30.9), giving him plenty of opportunity to put balls into the net.

Finally, I end the game by putting the Maple Leafs on the money line. The Leafs are the better team overall and have patched things up since the last time the two met.

The Buds should also play harder for their coach, who was fired by St. Louis last year. Craig Berube should have some money on the board.
