LSP investigates officer-involved shooting; 2 people were injured

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Louisiana State Police troopers are investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred on Sunday, November 3rd.

LSP investigators responded to investigate the shooting around 8:30 p.m. It happened on Brownlee Street near College Drive in Baton Rouge.

According to officials, two people were injured and taken to a hospital with serious injuries. No officers were injured in the incident.

Investigators are working to process the crime scene and obtain more information. The Louisiana State Police crime lab helped investigate the crime scene. The investigation is ongoing. Further information will be provided as it becomes available.
