Aftermath

So the Yankees do what they have to do: play a good game of baseball, score a few runs and get a win. This means there is no series sweep and a ray of pride has arrived in the Bronx. So do their bats. Even Judge looked a little better tonight.

But make no mistake, LA's goal was to get through a bullpen game without using their big bullpen pieces. That's exactly what they did, and now all of the substitutes are fresh and ready for Game 5 tomorrow night at Yankee Stadium. And yes, New York will have their ace Gerrit Cole on the mound as they try to force a return to LA for Game 6. But the Dodgers will also have a formidable arm in Yoshinobu Yamamoto, a $300 million pitcher on the way to becoming an MLB ace after several seasons of dominant performances in his native Japan. He more or less shut out New York in Game 2, allowing a single run in 6.1 innings and is more than capable of dueling Cole.

So there's a lot to look forward to! We'll be back for Game 5 on Wednesday! Thanks for reading, and wherever you are, good morning, good afternoon and good night!
