After months of preparation, the Eras Tour has finally arrived in Indianapolis.

More than 200,000 fans are expected to be in downtown Indianapolis this three-show weekend, with about 70,000 at the shows each night. Almost 90% of ticket holders come from outside the Circle City and hotels are virtually sold out.

IndyStar will be watching all the fun, bringing you the sights and sounds of downtown Indianapolis as the final U.S. shows of the Eras Tour begin. Check back later this evening as Indy Night 1 celebrates.

Weather in Indianapolis today

The National Weather Service forecast calls for sunny skies and a high of 57 degrees Friday, falling to a cool 38 degrees overnight.

Will the Lucas Oil Stadium roof be open for Taylor Swift?

Although we're expecting pretty good weather for a Friday in November in Indy, the roof will be closed for all three shows, Lucas Oil Stadium officials said.

Bag Guidelines for Lucas Oil Stadium

In general, fans should expect to be able to enter with clear bags no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″. Logos smaller than 3.4″ x 4.5″ are fine, as long as they are on one side of the bag. Non-clear bags must be no larger than 4.5 x 6.5 inches, without a strap or handle. Fans can also bring a gallon size clear plastic bag.

Backpacks, briefcases, luggage and opaque and transparent bags larger than the previously stated dimensions are not permitted.

What you should know about Ticketmaster's 72-hour ticket transfer policy

In response to ticket fraud related to Swift's shows, Ticketmaster has changed the way fans can transfer tickets between accounts. Ticketmaster announced earlier this month that ticket transfers for Swift's shows will now be limited to a 72-hour window prior to the event. Previously, fans could exchange their tickets at any time.

This may not be relevant to you, the lucky N1 ticket holders, but N3 tickets may still be in limbo.

How to get Eras Tour merchandise outside Lucas Oil Stadium

The Eras Tour Merchandise Shop will be open to the public from October 30th to November 2nd at the Indiana Convention Center and to ticket holders at all levels of Lucas Oil Stadium.
