Linda Holliday, Bill Belichick's former girlfriend, caused a stir this week when a photo of her dressed as Uma Thurman's character in the film “Kill Bill” surfaced online, sparking speculation that the costume was intended as a none-too-subtle message legendary trainers.

The photo, which shows Holliday dressed as Beatrix “the Bride” Kiddo from the 2003 film, complete with the character's yellow suit and samurai sword, first appeared online on Tuesday, TMZ reported.

The reaction was quick. Radio host Rich Shertenlieb posted the photo on #OhMy.”

Holliday appeared outraged by online critics who thought her costume choice was an attack on Belichick.

On Wednesday, she responded to her Instagram Story, TMZ reported. The message appeared to have disappeared from her story as of Thursday afternoon.

“Can everyone please stop being offended by absolutely EVERYTHING?” Holliday wrote. “You would never have survived the days of Eddie Murphy, Andrew Dice Clay, etc., etc…. “You wouldn't have survived the late night talk shows like Jay Leno or David Letterman. For heaven's sake, laugh a little. Relax. Not everything is an attack…”

While Holliday has obviously said goodbye to the legendary coach, the 72-year-old former New England Patriots head coach has also charted a new course.

In June, People reported that Belichick and 24-year-old Jordon Hudson were dating and began seeing each other in 2023, after Belichick split from Holliday after 16 years.

Belichick and Hudson, a former college cheerleader, met in 2021 after becoming close over a philosophy project Hudson was working on, Page Six reported. According to her LinkedIn profile, Hudson graduated from Bridgewater State in 2022.

Holliday's costume hit the internet shortly after former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady had his own viral moment with his ex.

After it was revealed on Monday that his former wife Gisele Bündchen is pregnant, Brady posted an Instagram Story to the Chicks' cover of Fleetwood Mac's “Landslide.”

Brady's story included a sunset photo with three red heart emojis, but no text other than the lyrics to the melancholy song playing in the bottom right corner: “Oh mirror in heaven, what is love / Can the child in my heart rise to the top.” / Can I sail through the changing tides of the ocean?”
