LeBron James went on a double-digit point streak, explained

James has scored 10 or more points in every regular season game since January 6, 2007. James' eight-point performance in a Cavaliers victory over the Bucks on January 5, 2007 was the last game of the regular season in which he failed to score in double figures.

Entering the 2024–25 NBA season, James' streak stood at 1,222 consecutive games with more than 10 points. The second longest streak in league history is 866 games, set by Michael Jordan from March 25, 1986 to December 26, 2001. The difference of 356 games is equivalent to four full seasons and 28 games.

James' winning streak equates to nearly 15 NBA seasons. Taking health into account, a player would have to last longer than 15 seasons without scoring fewer than 10 points in a game.

The second-longest active streak after James belongs to Kevin Durant, who entered the 2024-25 NBA season with 188 consecutive games and more than 10 points.

LeBron James' single-digit scoring games

Including the regular season and playoffs, James has scored fewer than 10 points just 10 times in his career.

James' last game with single-digit scoring was a seven-point performance in Game 5 of the 2014 Eastern Conference Finals. He also scored just eight points in Game 4 of the 2011 NBA Finals.

Over the course of his career, James has had more games with 50 points (15) than games with fewer than 10 points (10) in the regular season and playoffs.

Notably, James scored 10 points in 11 minutes in the 2017-18 season finale, maintaining the streak, while appearing in 82 of 82 regular season games. The streak also survived James' early exit against the Pistons in 2021, when he scored 10 points in 21 minutes.

Most recently, James increased his point total to 10 points by hitting a 3-pointer with 1:58 left in a loss to the Suns on October 28, 2024. Late in the game, he intentionally split two free throws to bring his point total to 11 points (on 3 of 14 shooting) in 36 minutes.
