Jimmy Kimmel has expressed shock that newly emerged claims about Donald Trump's relationship with late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein did not “clinch the balance” in the election.

In a final pitch to the audience on Monday evening Jimmy Kimmel Live, The host referenced claims that had just come to light about Trump's past friendship with the late billionaire pedophile.

Journalist Michael Wolff published an audio clip on his podcast four days before the end of the presidential election campaign Fire and fury What he says is that Epstein speaks at length about the inner workings of Trump's Cabinet.

“I still don’t understand how close this race can be,” said an exasperated Kimmel.

“We heard a bombshell audio recording of Jeffrey Epstein saying he was Trump's closest friend and telling a lot of crazy stories, it's hardly disconcerting.

“We just watched a hundred hours of Jeffrey Epstein saying he and Trump were best friends, I didn't even get a notification about it on my phone,” Kimmel said.

“Epstein said Trump told him that he, uh, liked having sex with his best friends' wives, to the point where Epstein described Trump as having no moral compass,” Kimmel continued.

“Do you know what a vile life you have to be for Jeffrey Epstein to say you have no morals (compass)? It’s like R. Kelly is mad at you for leaving the toilet seat up.”

Recordings received from The Daily Beast allegedly contain Epstein's scathing assessment of Trump.

“The moral compass simply doesn’t exist,” he told Wolff.

In his final criticism of Trump before America goes to the polls today, Kimmel also referenced a June interview with Fox News in which Trump was asked whether he would release the Epstein files.

Trump didn't hesitate when asked whether he would declassify the 9/11 files or the JFK files, but when it came to Epstein, he paused and said, “I guess I would, but I.” think that less because you don't. “I don't want to impact people's lives if there's fake stuff in there.”
