Jennifer Garner wears the famous “13 Going on 30” dress for Halloween

Jennifer Garner throws it back 13 Next 30 for Halloween!

On Wednesday, October 30, the 52-year-old actress posted a video on TikTok and Instagram in which she recreated the preparation scene from her hit 2004 film.

Accompanied by Whitney Houston's song “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” – the same song used in the film – Garner applied lip gloss before adding retinol cream, powder and eyeliner, hilariously wearing her glasses to help her along Applying eye makeup to help.

The star, who played Jenna Rink in the film, then looked confused at what looked like a pair of Spanx.

She originally wore a white silk robe, but the video showed Garner stepping out in the same colorful dress Jenna wore to her work party in the romantic comedy.

Garner paired the dress with long white socks, dark pink sneakers and a dark gray bag on her body and turned around in her bathroom before heading out.

She also wore the same butterfly necklace her character wears in the film, as well as small hoop earrings.

“Happy 20th Halloween Jenna Rink,” her caption read.

“You will always be Jenna Rink to me,” one person commented. “I watched 13 Next 30 the first time when I was 13 and this year on my 30th birthday.”

A second added: “My inner child got so giddy when I saw you in that dress.”

13 Next 30 follows unpopular student Jenna Rink, who wishes on her 13th birthday that she wants to be “30, flirtatious and successful.” Then she wakes up as a 30-year-old woman and lives the life she says she always wanted.

The film also stars Mark Ruffalo, Christa B. Allen and Judy Greer.

In April, Garner, Ruffalo (56) and Greer (49) reunited to celebrate the romantic comedy's 20th anniversary. The trio all shared the same recorded video chat titled “13 Going on Boomer” on their Instagram accounts.
