Ilona Maher announced with a viral TikTok that she will be dancing to an Encanto song for DWTS' Disney night, and fans are panicking

Of all the different themed evenings that make up a season Dancing with the starsDisney Night is without question one of the favorites. Everyone knows most of the songs, which makes the dances even more fun. When this popular episode airs next week on TV Guide 2024, perhaps a few extra pairs of eyes will be looking at US rugby player Ilona Maher because she has chosen to be a part of the incredible Encanto Soundtrack that will make fans lose their minds with joy. The full list of songs the remaining contestants will perform to at Disney Night has been released. It contains an extensive collection of tunes, including music by The Little Mermaid, Tarzanand even ZOMBIES 2. I feel like Super Bowl champion Danny Amendola is cheating a little with “Bye Bye Bye,” even though the song technically counts since it came out in Deadpool and Wolverine. However, Ilona Maher will embrace her inner Luisa and dance to “Surface Pressure.” Encanto is what attracts everyone's attention.

Ilona Maher confirmed her song choice on Tiktok with a short video in which she announced the opening of the performance. The post has now gone viral as fans are losing their minds over it.

The fans are thrilled with the choice because Ilona Maher has already been called upon by the grassroots to choose exactly this song for this special evening. As a rugby player, she has the build to play the super-strong Luisa, and at least one tweet went viral simply hoping that's exactly what would happen because she looks so good for the role:

In the TikTok, Maher specifically said, “We heard you,” so the decision to use “Surface Pressure” was largely, if not entirely, due to fan demand. She explained that she “always saw herself” in the character, and she seemed pretty excited to perform the song.

Needless to say, fans are overjoyed that they'll actually get to see Ilona Maher Dancing with the stars as Luisa. Everyone else will dance to Disney songs, but Maher probably will become a Disney character for her performance.
