Heidi Klum reveals her scary Halloween costume for 2024

The Queen of Halloween has done it again. For Halloween 2024, Heidi Klum channeled her alien side.

Klum, 51, shocked again Us with her extraordinary transformation on Thursday for her star-studded Halloween party in New York City. For the spooky holiday, she donned an ET costume with her husband Tom Kaulitz.

ET was a fictional alien character in the popular 1982 film of the same name, directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Henry Thomas as Henry and Drew Barrymore as Gertie.

For her Halloween party, Klum wore a hat and scarf ensemble, referencing the scene in the film in which the beloved character donned human clothing while playing dress-up with Gertie.

When it came to makeup, Klum did her best, wearing a full facial prosthesis that gave her a reptilian appearance. The scales were stuck across her face and neck and covered her nose. Klum's eyes could be seen peeking out from the “neck” of the costume, while ET's head was perched above it.

Meanwhile, Kaulitz also dressed up as ET for the occasion, albeit without the bag, scarf and lipstick seen in Klum's costume.

Klum teased her look earlier on Thursday, going live on Amazon as she prepared for her annual party. In the stream, fans watched Klum as prostheses were attached to her face – an hour-long torture.

Klum also posted a photo of herself holding a giant finger, teasing one of ET's trademark looks.

She told it before Extra TV that her costume was from “another planet” when she visited the Empire State Building on Tuesday, October 29th. “It's not from Earth and it's a couple's costume,” she hinted. “(Tom) is such a good sport because it requires hours of planning, adjustments and prosthetics. I enjoy it because I love the art and I love the amazing people who can put all these prosthetics on me.”

“I have a vision, I have an idea, I bring the vision to my team and then, 'Good luck figuring it out!' “I’m trying to do things that have never been done before,” she continued. “It's not something I can buy in a store. It's difficult! I love it so much.”

Klum revealed details about her Halloween costume back in October Today a hint of what to expect.

“It will be otherworldly,” she said in an interview at the time. “And there will be a lot of prosthetics again. Just thinking about it makes me claustrophobic.”
