Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris spent the final weekend of their campaigns moving back and forth between battleground states, hoping to drum up more last-minute support. But travel plans aside, their finals couldn't be more different.

At a rally in Pennsylvania, Trump noted the bulletproof glass his security team has used to protect him since he was shot earlier this year. “To get me, someone would have to shoot through the fake news,” he said. “And that doesn’t bother me that much.” Trump immediately drew backlash for the violent rhetoric.

Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris made a very traditional — and politically safe — appearance on NBC's “Saturday Night Live.” The decision to briefly deviate from the swing state trail — but no strict scripts and no friendly crowd — reflects the very cautious approach Harris has taken as she faces an opponent she describes as “unhinged.” .

If anything, this clash of styles became even more apparent by the end of the campaign. Harris rarely deviates from her speech at rallies. Many of her extended interactions with the media were with friendly interviewers. In just over a week, her opponent has spoken through the media about people shooting through the media, said he would protect women “whether they like it or not,” and appeared at a rally where one of his warm-hearted supporters spoke -Up act was called “Puerto Rico”. Garbage.”

At least 11 people were injured after heavy rains and tornadoes hit Oklahoma over the weekend. No one died from the storms, but 100 homes were damaged across the state, Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt said at a news conference. Stitt said he has issued an emergency declaration for six counties.

It's unclear how many tornadoes struck the state, but they left damage to several buildings, downed power lines, traffic lights and trees, according to the Oklahoma City Fire Department. A video shows that an elementary school in the Oklahoma City area was severely damaged. According to a statement from the National Weather Service, the severe weather is expected to continue through today, “with the heaviest rain expected to impact from central to eastern Oklahoma into portions of northwest Arkansas and southern Missouri.”

Most of Oklahoma remains under a flood watch Thousands still remain without power.

A big win for the Minnesota Vikings after ending a two-game losing streak, and proof of why the Detroit Lions could be the best team in the NFL. NBC Sports Editor Greg Rosenstein breaks down Week 9.

💪 The Minnesota Vikings snapped a two-game losing streak by defeating the Indianapolis Colts 21-13 at home on “Sunday Night Football.” Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold threw two picks and lost a fumble, but he stepped up when it mattered most: His three second-half touchdowns moved Minnesota to 6-2 on the season. The Colts, who traded QB Anthony Richardson in favor of 39-year-old Joe Flacco this week, fell to 4-5.

🏃The Detroit Lions won 24-14 against the Green Bay Packers and improved to 7-1. Lions quarterback Jared Goff was incredibly efficient, going 18 of 22 for 145 yards and a score. Jahmyr Gibbs and Amon-Ra St. Brown both found the end zone, as did safety Kerby Joseph after a 27-yard interception that was returned for a touchdown.

🩹 The Dallas Cowboys lost more than just their match against the Atlanta Falcons. Quarterback Dak Prescott left the game on Sunday in the fourth quarter with a hamstring injury and was replaced by backup quarterback Cooper Rush. It's unclear whether he will miss time. The Cowboys (3-5) have lost three straight games while the Falcons improved to 6-3.

🏈The Chicago Bears, one week after one brutal Hail Mary loss to the Washington Commanders, were embarrassed by the Arizona Cardinals (5-4) with a 29-9 loss. To make matters worse for the Bears (4-4), rookie quarterback Caleb Williams injured his ankle on the final 20-point play. The pressure is growing on coach Matt Eberflus to change things.

Four fraudsters have been found guilty of killing an art dealer who friends described as a “rich, gay socialite” in Palm Springs, California, in 2008. But her conviction was overturned by a judge's homophobic comments. Prosecutors had to start over, and although they have secured additional murder convictions since then, not all of the guilty parties have been convicted. Reporters Tim Stelloh and David Ketterling take a look at the case and the art dealer's friends' quest for justice in his death.
