Halsey says 'influential' music executive took nude photos without consent

Halsey shares details about a “demoralizing” experience she had with a music manager. During an interview with Call her dadThe musician revealed that an “influential” manager once went through her nude photos on her phone during a dinner without her consent.

“And when that happened, in that moment I thought, 'You're nothing.' You are nothing. You’ll always be nothing,” Halsey said of the experience. “You're still just that damn girl who's being taken advantage of or like men are talking about you behind your back or you're some kind of security.” I was like, 'You're nothing.' It was so demoralizing.”

The great imitator The musician shared that she just had a “very celebratory” dinner with the “really powerful manager,” who asked to take a photo with Halsey to show his niece. When she left to use the restroom, the manager had access to her unlocked phone, and when she returned he was scrolling through her nude photos.

“I saw him looking through my nude photos on my phone,” Halsey said. “I was just frozen… I didn't even know what to do. I thought, 'Did I imagine this?' Was this an accident?' I was like, 'Did the phone scroll up?' What the hell just happened?'”

Halsey said she feared the man may have also sent the nude to himself.

“Did he write it himself and then delete it? I don’t even know where these are now,” she said.
