The Cincinnati Bengals face the Philadelphia Eagles without Tee Higgins, their standout wide receiver, who is out with a quadriceps injury he suffered late in the week. NFL insider Tom Pelissero shared the news, pointing out that the Bengals will have to rely on others to maintain their momentum in the absence of the former Clemson football star wide receiver.

Higgins, a key playmaker for quarterback Joe Burrow, has played a crucial role in helping the Bengals' offense find its rhythm. Along with Ja'Marr Chase, he represents a dual threat to Cincinnati's passing game, forcing defenses to remain alert. The Bengals, now 3-4, are looking to reach a .500 record by defeating the Eagles before their bye week. So far, Higgins has recorded 29 catches for 431 yards and three touchdowns, including a strong 82-yard, one-touchdown performance against Cleveland last week.

Higgins, who emerged from Clemson as one of the NFL's best young receivers, is expected to become a free agent after this season because he and the Bengals have not yet reached an extension agreement.
