No. 7 Tennessee (7-1, 4-1 SEC) extended its winning streak to three games after defeating SEC rival Kentucky (3-6, 1-6 SEC) on Saturday. The Vols won 28-18 in Week 10 at Neyland Stadium.

The rankings reflect the US LBM Coaches Survey.

101,915 spectators were in attendance, marking the 18th consecutive sellout at Neyland Stadium. The Vols are now 23-4 at Neyland Stadium under fourth-year head coach Josh Heupel.

Saturday's contest was the first for Tennessee this season in dark mode uniforms. The Vols have a 5-1 record while wearing black jerseys, including a 4-1 record in Nike Dark mode since 2021.

Junior running back Dylan Sampson broke a 95-year-old Tennessee football record on Saturday. The 5-foot-11, 201-pound running back scored his 19th rushing touchdown of the season against Kentucky. He set Tennessee's single-season record for rushing touchdowns. The Vols' first All-American, Gene McEver, already held the record with 18 rushing touchdowns in 1929. Sampson is also the first Vol in program history to score a rushing touchdown in eight consecutive games in the same season.

The 6-foot-1, 220-pound redshirt freshman signal-caller set career highs in completions (28) and pass attempts (38) against Kentucky. Iamaleava has completed 136 of 208 pass attempts for 1,705 yards, nine touchdowns and four interceptions this season. He also totaled 193 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown on 60 attempts in 2024.

Sophomore linebacker Arion Carter led the Vols in tackles (10) against Kentucky. Carter's 10 tackles marked an individual career high in a game. He was also one of seven Vols to record a quarterback rush against the Wildcats.

Miles Kitselman

Senior tight end Miles Kitselman set three career highs and tied a career high in the Vols' win over Kentucky. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound transfer player achieved career highs in receptions (6), receiving yards (97) and longest reception (31 yards). He reached the highlight of his career with a touchdown. Kitselman led all receivers on both teams with 97 receiving yards.
