STARKVILLE – Another troubling Mississippi State football game took place on Saturday.

The Bulldogs (1-7, 0-5 SEC) were beaten 58-25 by Arkansas (5-3, 3-2) at Davis Wade Stadium. They trailed by 31 points early in the third quarter and have now lost seven straight games with four remaining.

MSU hosts UMass (1-6) next Saturday (3:15 p.m., SEC Network) before a road game at Tennessee.

After an interception by Michael Van Buren Jr., Rashod Dubinion ran for a 3-yard touchdown with 4:50 to play.

Taylen Green made another fantastic play when he rolled right and hit tight end Luke Hasz for a 15-yard touchdown with 5:51 left.

Shipley hit his third field goal of the game with 14:04 left in the fourth quarter.

After an interception by Nic Mitchell, Michael Van Buren Jr. scored on a four-yard rush. Kelly Akharaiyi scored a two-point conversion.

Michael Van Buren Jr. threw a screen pass to Kevin Coleman Jr., which he returned 31 yards to the end zone with 4:40 remaining in the third quarter.

Taylen Green's fifth touchdown of the game was a 7-yard pass to Andreas Paaske with 6:51 left in the third quarter.

The Razorbacks opened the second half with a 31-yard field goal by Matthew Shipley.

Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green threw a 1-yard touchdown to tight end Andreas Paaske with 16 seconds left in the first half.

Kyle Ferrie hit a 35-yard field goal with 1:54 left in the second quarter.

After Kyle Ferrie missed a field goal, the Razorbacks scored on a five-play drive with a 27-yard receiver touchdown by Jordan Anthony with 10:50 to play in the second quarter.

Arkansas converted a fourth-and-1 with a 14-yard touchdown pass from Taylen Green to Luke Hasz with 2:09 left in the first quarter.

The Razorback answered MSU's touchdown with a 27-yard field goal with 8:50 left in the first quarter.

A swing pass from Michael Van Buren Jr. to Davon Booth provided a 54-yard score with 11:45 left in the first quarter.

After Michael Van Buren Jr. was sacked on the second play, Taylen Green scored an 8-yard rushing touchdown 1:54 into the game.
